H.E The Minister of External Relations received in audience Professor Charles Binam Bikoi, Executive Secretary of CERDOTOLA on Tuesday, 14th March 2017.
The Minister and his guest exchanged on the preparation of the celebration of the 40th anniversary of CERDOTOLA, which will take place in October 2017.
The Executive Secretary expects the celebration to be solemn and at the measure of the work carried out by the Centre which works for protection, the spreading and the development of the African pool of culture.
Five modules are being prepared:
- A Summit of cultural Institutions of Africa and the Diaspora;
- A Conference of Ministers of Culture of founder States of CERDOTOLA;
- An International Colloquium;
- An Exposition;
- Nights of CERDOTOLA, with an African fashion soirée and closure official reception
during which African dignitaries who have contributed to the development of culture and the African pool will be acknowledged.
CERDOTOLA also foresees the launching of two international programmes within the framework of 40th anniversary:
- The programme on patrimonial feeding of Africans in May 2017;
- The programme for the development of the African health system in July 2017.
